calm place in near ikebukuro station Contrasted with the complex main street you can try authentic Japanese desserts matcha latte was so nice also as you can see atmosphere is amazing
You must try their butter toast with red bean!!! It’s so buttery!! Only open once a week and was so lucky to get a table when I’m at Tokyo nice matcha paste with dango/Mochi too! Super soft and chewy! Will visit again! Check out their IG to catch their operation date!
This coffee shop in located in a temple, so it's usually opens just once in a week. You can check the day on their facebook page. Atmosphere is amazing There're several drink option and a few deserts. Their barista is very good so I'd strongly recommend you to get a hot latte option ;) For the food - we took a regular red bean paste toast and shirotama - matcha - anko paste dessert. You can add an ice cream to the shirotama desert, btw. It might be tastier this way, cause matcha they use here is pretty bitter. You can see two corgis in their instagram page, but you probably won't meet them during cafe time
We had the pleasure to have breakfast here as our first day in Japan. It was an incredible experience, the food was incredibly tasty the location is amazing and the staff was super friendly and speaking English. Definitely one of the best experiences in my life
Run inside a temple by monks, this is a lovely place to relax away from the chaotic city. Spacious, and friendly for the physically challenged, it is unfortunately open only once a week and you need to check the schedule on their Facebook account. You can sit indoors or outside , either way you can enjoy the view. They even have blankets for winter. Delicious coffee & matcha latte.
This place is amazing, very beautiful and the food and drinks is amazing and very peaceful quiet .make sure you make a reservations. I will be coming back to this place.
Beautiful place. Super peaceful and calm. Even though it is quite popular and there are many people, it is quiet. I really recommend to go and see every corner of this cafe and this temple. The french toast and matcha latte were good too. Needless to mention that the service was really kind and polite. I really recommend to check their instagram, see when they are open, and go to this very unique cafe.
Wonderful place, kind of complicated to make reservations, but you can look up online how to!
